Nido Organics Coir/Latex/Wool Mattress

These mattresses are a sandwich style mattress consisting of a coir core (shredded coconut fibre) layered with pure latex (no chemical fillers have been used in this latex) and finally topped with pure tufted lambswool which is a natural fire retardant. They are then encased in a removable organic cotton cover.

These are a truly pure chemical free alternative to a conventional foam mattress. It is recommended for use with the organic felted cotton mattress protector.

The Nido organic cotton futons is made by a completely certified factory in India and this is because the quality of the cotton is just beautiful from there. There are no springs in our futons just cotton. The sandwich style mattresses are made by a completely chemical free factory in China. If you have concerns about made in China, Nido have researched the company and they are owned 50% by a Dutch company and all of the equipment and management is Dutch. As China has until recently operated under communist laws that no company can be owned more than 50% by any person who is not a Chinese citizen. The factory only works with natural fibre products and they produce high quality products. The natural latex products produced by this factory, adopt high-quality imported natural emulsion as the raw material. They do not contain any other stuffing or chemical material. Its soft and natural emulsion nature can not be imitated by any other artificial glue. They are non-toxic, mite-proof, anti-bacteria, and environment-friendly.
