Ellaroo Organic Cotton Ring Sling

All Ellaroo slings and carriers are made from 100% certified organic fibre. The beauty of a ring sling is that it is easy to adjust while you are wearing it so you can settle your baby in different positions according to his mood.

By loosening or tightening the fabric through the rings, you can move him from a cradled to a nursing position or place him more upright after a feed. He will feel safe and snug, close to the warmth and familiar sounds of your body. Unlike some popular carriers, this sling provides support for your baby’s spine in every position.

Even when he/she is sitting more upright, his/her weight will be taken by the fleshy part of his bottom and not the base of his backbone, so there is no risk of stress to his immature and delicate spine.

Ellaroo ring slings are made from soft organic cotton with a sateen finish and come in a variety of stylish patterns and colours. The fabric is dyed with eco dyes and contains no chemicals that can harm your baby’s sensitive skin and lungs.

The sling has a wide cushioned pad which comfortably cups your shoulder and distributes the baby’s weight across your body. The side seams are padded just long enough to cushion your baby’s head and body, but not so long that the fabric is bulky through the rings.

The padding is made from recycled soda bottles which are melted down and combed into fine non-allergenic machine-washable fibre. The sling provides discrete cover while you are nursing your baby, and protection from the wind and sunshine, as well as a soft handy cloth for wiping a dirty nose or face.

Just throw it in the washing machine on a cold wash and hang it up to dry. The fabric won’t fade or shrink in the washing process. When your baby becomes a toddler, you will still be able to carry him comfortably on your hip or back; the slings are stress tested to 46 kilos. And, when not in use, just fold the sling away into your bag.
