The DVDs are presented in a unique storytelling format that is appealing to children of all ages. A mix of cartoon and reality creates a wonderful texture that draws children in to the story and doing the yoga exercises.
The narrative of the story is presented on the screen by Yuga the Monkey, Chris, the yoga teacher and the KindaYoga team of children aged 4-6 years.

Join Chris and the KindaYoga team doing Hatha Yoga postures to represent the characters and actions of the story. The KindaYoga concept introduces children to many social learning opportunities as Yuga explores his world and faces issues relevant to children all over the world.

Special Feature on each DVD is a short cooking segment for children, with Chris and members of the KindaYoga team, aimed at encouraging children into the kitchen with their families, to make quick and delicious snacks promoting a healthy lifestyle and an appreciation of sound eating habits. An additional educational segment features on each of the DVDs discussing developmental issues such as the Value of Yoga, the Value of proper Breath, the Value of Dramatic Play or the Value of Cooking with Children.

The episodes are:

1) The Jungle Story: Yuga goes in search of his friend Duck, who is missing in the jungle.

2) A Birthday Adventure: Yuga gathers his friends to surprise Duck for his birthday

3) Sleepy Time: Tara the Tiger and Yuga learn how to calm their bodies after a busy day

4) Under the Sea: Yuga drifts off into a dream and visits all his friends who live in the ocean.

Each episode stands on its own and can be viewed in or out of sequence.
