What is Eco Clay™ made from?
Eco Clay™ is made from certified organic wheat flour, filtered water, aluminium free sea salt, certified organic sunflower oil, citric acid, cream of tartar, all natural colours and certified organic pure essential oils. Please note: from time to time ingredients can be unavailable from suppliers and a substitute is needed, but organic ingredients wont be compromised in this case.

How long will Eco Clay™ last?
Around 4 months if stored correctly.

Where should I store it?
The fridge or a cool dark place.

Is it edible?
No. Eco Clay™ is not designed to be eaten.

Will it stain?
So far I have only had staining occur in my home from handling the raw colours, but the dough may stain.

My dough has become dry, what should I do?
Adding vegetable oil or some water a few drops at a time should restore the dough.

There are white lumps in my dough, what is this?
Eco Clay™ is triple sifted, but as it is made by hand, sometimes there may be unmixed areas of flour. Remove and discard.

There are white crystals on the surface of the dough, what is this?
Salt can deposit on the exterior of the dough when cold. Work the dough with your hands to blend the salt through.

There are small dark flecks in the dough, what is this?
This is unmixed colour. Remove and discard.

Primaries are blended to obtain my colour range. Differences will appear from batch to batch.

How do I get it off clothing, carpet etc?
A regular, warm, wash should remove dough from clothing. If Eco Clay™ ends up on carpet or other areas, remove as much of the dough as you can then allow it to dry and scrape away the remainder. A wet cloth should be fine for clean ups on tables, tiles etc.

Is Eco Clay™ vegan?
No. The colour Carmine is sourced from insects.

Do you make Gluten Free dough?
Hopefully we will be adding it to the range very soon.
