Organic Cotton Sheet Set

Organic Cotton has a silky, soft feel against your skin. The strength and beauty of this fabric is due to the fact that no bleaches, chemicals, formaldehyde or resins have been used in the growing or processing of the cotton. This stengthens the fabric and reduces the likelihood of skin allergies for you. The 100% combed cotton yarn gives a luxurious texture and is guaranteed not to pill.

These sheets will last for years due the lack of chemicals like bleaches that reduce the strength of cotton, explaining why many standard cotton sheets these days tear within a couple of years.

Through a process of oxygen bleaching, the sheets are now available in white without having to use bleaches.

White is most common but occasionally we have other colours on offer. Stay tuned to the website to keep up to date with the changes.

COTTON TIP!
Thread Count is about how many threads there are in a square centimetre of cotton. Textiles are often described in terms of thread count and you may come across counts from 250 to 1000. What's MORE important though than the thread count is the quality of the thread being used and the machinery its been made on and the processes to finish it. To find out the quality of the thread being used, ask your retailer where your sheets have come from and the farming and finishing practises used to make them.

Regular, mainstream brands of washing powder can contain petrochemicals or synthetically based chemicals. In order to avoid possible skin conditions or reduce the toxic layering our bodies are already exposed to, consider using laundry powder from a health food store or visit our earth-friendly laundry section to select a good washing powder.
