Non-toxic Natursutten Pacifiers (also known as dummies or soothers) are made from pure, natural rubber from the tree Hevea Brasiliensi. The Danish word Natursut means "Natural Pacifier."

The pacifiers are extremely hygienic because they are molded in one piece. This means there is no joints or cracks where dirt and bacteria can accumulate. The pacifier shield is larger than conventional shields to help protect babies from squeezing the flexible material enough to get into their mouth. It will also not leave marks on the baby's face.

The protein that on rare occasions can provoke a latex allergy is removed from the rubber mass used for these soothers. This means, that there is no risk of latex allergy when using them.

Natursutten Pacifiers are made in Europe and are CE certified, which means that the product lives up to the European Union (EU) directive in the area concerned with safety, health and environment.

At Nature's Child, we are not encouraging you to use a soother, but we do encourage to do things that help you during tough times. You do not need to make soothers a permanent feature of your baby's life. A soother can help you through a rough patch - dispose of it as soon as you can.

These Natural Soothers should be changed 4-5 weeks so you don't need to repurchase unless you want to continue. I personally had one for a week and it kept my sanity during a rough week, but then I quickly gave it up before an addiction was created for my baby. Others do this for a few weeks or a few months. Every parent has different needs, we always want to provide safe alternatives for your babies in these circumstances.

If you buy this Natural Rubber Soother, you and your baby can avoid effects used in some soothers such as:

Natursutten Pacifiers are available in two shapes and many sizes for the perfect fit! Because of their natural quality, it is recommended that Natursutten pacifiers be replaced every 4 to 5 weeks or as needed. They should be boiled in water for 2 minutes before using for the first time. Afterwards they should be scalded on a daily basis, but not in the dishwasher. The pacifiers will slightly change color during use.

The rounded ones round in the mouthpiece, the orthodontic ones are more flat. The orthodontic pacifier is better for baby's teeth if it is placed in the right position. The problem with these pacifiers is that they can turn up-side-down. And if they are placed in the wrong position they can do more harm thank good. The rounded pacifier can't be placed wrong. So it is this question of temperament.
