Western Australia On the 1st of May 2008 Nimovera Pty. Ltd with Managing Director, Debra Doig came on board as our exclusive agent for Natures Child in WA.
Debra has been connected with the baby nursery industry for some 13 years starting with the birth of her first son where, like many parents, she began to consider the choices available for parents and babies.
Nimovera pride themselves on being able to offer quality choices for parents and excellent customer service to their retailers, so our decision to work together was simple!
Debra can be contacted via mobile on 0417 579 311, at the Nimovera office on (08) 9302 4266 or via email on info@nimovera.com
Queensland We would also like to welcome Julie Boardman who came on as our exclusive agent for Queensland on the 1st of May!
Julie has been servicing the baby nursery industry in Queensland for the past 3 years representing brands such as Great Expectations and Baby Brands. A unique advantage for Julie is that as a mum Julie independently chose to use Natures Child Cloth Nappy for her own baby, so to now be promoting the brand is a natural transition!
Julie can be contacted on 0422 448 448 or via email on julieboardman@optusnet.com.au
Please welcome Debra with Nimovera Pty Ltd & Julie as they make contact with you over the next month, the addition of all the Agents around Australia this year has been one aimed at providing you, our valued retailers, better support in the marketplace!

THE LIFE CYCLE OF PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT IN NATURE'S CHILD - THE NATURE'S CHILD ORGANIC COTTON HOODED TOWEL
I thought this month that you might like to know a little more about the life cycle of product development. I will skip the part about years of rumours and negotiations and start with our most recent product - our Nature's Child Australian Organic Cotton Hooded Towel.
The Organic cotton in our New Hooded Towel was grown North of Narrabri NSW.
We first tried to have a towel manufacturer in Australia to produce Terry towels and Terry fabric for us but after many attempts, no response! We worked closely with an agent who helped us move to the next level. Keeping in mind the carbon footprints, we looked for a destination as close as possible to Australia for the yarn and fabric to be produced and we decided on Indonesia where the yarn was spun by a company certified by Control Union.
As a consequence we sent bales of the cotton to Indonesia in a food container; these containers are the safest container available and furthermore the cotton was sent without any other products in the container.
The yarn was transferred to another company in Indonesia and although this company did/does not have organic certification the fabric was processed to our specified Control Union organic standard.
The fabric was transported back to Australia in multi layers of polypropylene.
The fabric was cut and sewn in Melbourne, again under our strict specifications to avoid any contamination and to be processed under strict clean conditions.
The fabric for the binding around the towels had to be purchased from a Dutch company and is certified organic by Control Union. The binding was cut in Melbourne and again it was processed in such a manner to avoid any contamination.
The towels were folded and packed in cartons as soon as they were made and the cartons are stored in a toxic free environment.
You can imagine the long journey that these few words that we share with you actually involved. Such is the passion of us mad few who produce these lovely organic cotton products. We know you will truly love our new organic cotton towel in your store and hope you can value our story and share the great news and journey of our first Australian Organic Cotton Product, absolutely fair trade, for your customers.
