Raspberry Leaf tea has been traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to prepare the uterus for childbirth. There are different views on when to start drinking Raspberry Leaf Tea so we recommend you check with your naturopath. A few weeks before birth and a few weeks after birth seems to be an agreed timeline but some practitioners may recommend a different time frame for you personally.

Hilde Hemmes Herbal Tea

Herbal teas are popular with health enthusiasts, naturopaths and herbalists because they are an economical, light and refreshing alternative to other drinks. Enjoying traditional herbal infusions is an easy way to reconnect with the past and appreciate just how much nature has to offer.

Unlike black tea, herbal teas utilise specific plant parts, such as flowers, roots, fruits, seeds, leaves and bark, chosen for their unique health benefits.

Herbal Pregnancy

QUALITY PRODUCTS SINCE 1985
The Hilde Hemmes’ product range includes a large variety of herbs commonly used in western herbal medicine. Plants are sourced from reputable growers in their country of origin and carefully dried to retain their natural properties.

Hilde Hemmes Herbs are rigorously tested to confirm that only the correct species are used. They are routinely tested for pesticides, heavy metals, aflatoxins, foreign matter and microbial levels. With our stringent quality assurance program, we are committed to supplying premium grade products.

THOUGHTFUL PACKAGING
Hilde Hemmes organic herbs are packed in biodegradable cellophane bags, to lock in their individual flavours and aromas. It is best to store your Raspberry Leaf Tea below 30°C, away from direct sunlight and in a dry environment. A dry cupboard is sufficient.

Directions
Infuse 1 or 2 heaped teaspoons of Raspberry leaf in a cup of boiling water, steep for 5 minutes. You can experiment with 1 or 2 spoons to discover how strong or weak you prefer your team. Strain and drink several cups daily.

You can store it in a covered jug or container in the fridge for up to 24 hours and gently warm the mixture before drinking or just drink cool if not using your tea straight away.  I prefer this method as I only have to make it once so it’s convenient.

It is ideal to drink at least three cups daily and it may be taken up to five times a day during labour. If you are using the Raspberry Leaf tea as a gargle: can be used several times daily, as required.

ORGANIC CERTIFIED

Hilde Hemmes Raspberry Leaf tea is free from preservatives, artificial colours, caffeine, yeast, gluten, sugars, alcohol and lactose. Manufactured to strict pharmaceutical standards and listed with the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA).
